Christmas boiled eggs

January 2, 2015Sew White

I love eggs and have been through what seems like a lot of Happy Eggs this year.

I saw this very cute Christmas boiled egg kit in Paperchase before Christmas and in the sales and at half price at £3.50 it just happened to fall into my basket. A lovely boiled egg to make Father Christmas’s head and using the cutter to make Christmas tree toast was such a lovely touch. The point on toast works very well to get through the egg and is so amusing.

The kit is simple; egg cup, egg hat and Christmas tree toast cutter. I’d recommend using medium eggs to fit in the egg cup and thin cut toast to use with the cutter.

It seems slightly barbaric to break Father Christmas’s head but it was a jolly breakfast.
