    OVEN THERMOMETER! People say it constantly, but you need to know what temperature you’re *really* baking at.

      I agree we found our oven was about 10 degrees hotter than we thought. Not too much but it does make a difference to your bakes.

    My tip anyway: Don’t be afraid to try or experiment – it might lead to a disaster but it might also lead to the most delicious thing you’ve ever tasted.

    P.S. A lot of disasters are not irretrievable or totally inedible!

      I agree experimenting is a lot of fun plus if something doesn’t work completely you can eat the evidence!

      I can’t believe the difference I found in my oven from the front to the back using the thermometer. It’s good to know!
