Be Berry Good to Yourself Smoothie

December 30, 2015Sew White

This is my favourite smoothie as it tastes lovely however it is also a very filling smoothie as it’s made with oats for slow release energy. It also has berries, ginger and spinach for extra flavour and vitamins. Try my Be Berry Good to Yourself Smoothie.

I love smoothies as they are so easy to make and can be different every single time. You can mix different fruits and quantities of them, add apple juice or water or oat milk or orange juice. They are so easy to change and create new drinks each time. For this one I also added in oats to keep me fuller for longer. It’s A great trick to keep the energy going further through the day. I think it also adds a great taste to the finished drink.

Sew White January Smoothie 1

My super smoothie was featured in the January issue of Time & Leisure Magazine across south west London and Surrey. It was so exciting to see it in print! It mixes together a great range of flavours and textures. I love adding fresh ginger it really gives it a boost to the flavour and adds some extra vitamins too.

Be Berry Good to Yourself Smoothie Recipe

This is a super simple delicious smoothie and takes minutes to make. Try changing the levels of each ingredient. If you like ginger add a little more. If you don’t like it at all remove it. It’s a really versatile drink so change it as you need. You can use frozen fruit for ease but if you have fresh berries they work just as well. The added joy of using frozen fruit is that it keeps the drink cooler for longer which is perfect for hot summer days.
