Blackberry, Spinach and Ginger Smoothie

The sun is high in the blue sky and my skin is loving the dose of vitamin D. While enjoying the good weather we finally have I’ve been craving a dose of something delicious and packed full of super vitamins perfect for supporting the body while the sun clears the mind.

To make this super simple and yet entirely delicious smoothie I used the Optimum G2.3 Platinum Series blender from Froothie . It comes with  two blender cups one large and one small perfect for making enough for one or a large batch for the whole family.

I used spinach for iron, ginger to help with digestion and blackberries for fibre. I also added a little celery for more of an earthy taste and a little extra vitamin k to support the blood and bones.

Blackberry, Spinach and Ginger Smoothie

Serves: 4 glasses
  • 200g blackberries
  • handful of fresh spinach
  • 1 stick of celery
  • 1cm thumb of ginger (I like it strong)
  • 500ml apple juice
  • top up with water if it’s too thick
  1. Pop everything in the blender and whizz up until smooth

A super smoothie perfect for enjoying in the sunshine

    Hey!! This looks really refreshing and tasty. I will definitely try this at home and treat all my friends and family with it. The addition of blackberries is making the smoothie tastier and it looks beautiful in that dark purple colour. Keep sharing such delicious and easy to make recipes.
