There is something truly beautiful about a waffle. They are simple to make and are delicious start to the day, or whenever you fancy it!

Sew White blueberry and orange waffles
I treated myself to a Vonshef waffle maker on Amazon for £20. Linky here. A brilliant investment and I have made so waffles already. It takes a while to warm up but if you turn it on before you the make the mix it’s hot enough when the mix is ready to go. Hot waffles with fruit and maple syrup is a wonderful way to start the weekend and I’m looking forward to a lot more in 2016.

The subtle flavour of orange in the waffle is so good and makes it taste like a chocolate orange if you decide to have Nutella with them.

We had waffles this morning! It’s our standard Sunday family breakfast – yum! These look delicious, and I love the idea of chocolate orange waffles too, although I’ll probably use chocolate sauce as we’re trying to cut back on the Nutella 🙂

This post makes me want a waffle maker! Blueberries are one of my favourites, I’ve never thought to pair them with oranges but it sounds delicious.
