Sew White Drinks for the new year 1

A glass of red wine with friends is one of my most things to do and getting to try a few new red wines was an offer I couldn’t refuse.

Campo Viejo Gran Reserva

This is a very special wine. Perfect for special occasions it is a must have for any red wine fan. The Campo Viejo Gran Reserva is a delicious Rioja which is darkest red in colour and has strong flavours of ripe red berries with a hint of spices at the end. It’s a beautiful bottle and a beautiful wine. I can’t wait to try this again at the next special occasion with my family and friends.
Availability: Most supermarkets nationwide

 RRP:  £16.79

Graffigna Malbec is an Award-winning Malbec from Argentina.

It is a beautiful, rich and smooth red wine that compliments red meat especially venison and steak. The fruity flavours of the cherries, plum and blackcurrant allows the wine to served with a host of different foods and even works with fruity and chocolate puddings. It has slightly spice and oak flavours which makes it feel like a winter wine but the fruit makes you think of summer. A beautiful blend that will be in my wine rack all year.

Graffigna has become a true Argentinean icon, delivering premium, world class wines for over 135 years.

You can get it in Sainsburys RRP £10.

The Jacob’s Creek Sparkling Shiraz is my new favourite drink.

Yes you read it right it is a sparkling red wine! I love red wine and sparkles so this calls out to me to drink it. The balance between sparkles and Shiraz is very well done and blended beautifully. It is an unusual taste at first but soon becomes a drink you will enjoy drinking. I shared it with friends and everyone said they would buy it and enjoy it again. It has rich flavours of blackberries and raspberries and the sparkle makes it so special.
Availability: Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Ocado RRP: £10.39

When you need a little pick me up this concentrated Press’d coffee has become a must have in my house. A concentrated coffee that you just add water too to make a really really delicious cup of coffee. It’s so small and fits perfectly in your hand and easily to carry around in your handbag. I still can’t believe that it makes so many cups. Great for when you’re Press’d for time and need a delicious drink. It is simply made from Arabica beans which have been pressed, brewed and then bottled. Available from Ocado

I don’t really like wine but sparkling red wine sounds intriguing so I might have to grab a bottle for my parents x

I’m not a teetotal but I do rarely drink – it can trigger a migraine for me. So I have little clue when it comes to choosing and comparing wine. If I do drink alcohol, though, I usually reach out for a glass (or two) of white vino. The Press’d coffee beans sound intriguing though. Never heard of them. Tx
