A Rosé Bank Holiday

May 27, 2017Sew White

It’s a super bank holiday weekend in London and I’ve enjoying a range of different Rosé and pink wines perfect to enjoy in the sunshine.

 Barefoot Pink Pinot Grigio

This wine is perfectly light yet very fruity compared to other Rosé wines. This includes apple, peach and raspberry flavours which work well as a solo drink or with summer meals especially a crispy salad or Mediterranean dishes. It is a super moreish wine and easily sip-able in the sun. A lovely wine and will be a regular sight at my parties and picnics this summer. A bottle is £6.99 from supermarkets.

Mondelli Sparkling Rosé

Next up in the super Mondelli sparkling Rosé. It is a delicious mix of sweet Rosé but also with it’s sparkle makes it very special. It’s distinct strawberries and cream flavous area  tasty combination that works and definitely will be what I’m drinking while watching the tennis this July. £7.50 and I bought it from Sainsbury’s.

Blossom Hill Zinfandel

The Zinfandel is a fruity rosé bursting with the summer flavours of strawberry and watermelon, delivering a deliciously fresh and lightly sparkly finish. This would be delicious to enjoy on the beach or next to the pool but until I have the opportunity for that, in the sunshine with friends will do. £6 Tesco.

Cheers to a summer of rosé with friends in the sunshine!

Rose is definitely the most summery of wines isn’t it? Some lovely recommendations here.
