Chocolate is such an amazing thing that one day to celebrate it would not be enough so I am very happy to be enjoying all the chocolateness of chocolate week! Chocolate addict oh yes!

There will be a few chocolate recipes to celebrate the week but to start here are a few of my favourite chocolate things I am enjoying this week.

It’s a hot chocolate time of year. Whittard has bought out a lovely range of hot chocolates which I love. Their regular hot chocolate is so good would defeinitely be put under simple and great in my book. The Strawberry hot chocolate I find a little too sweet but it is enjoyable. I had never used a chocolate spoon before but I am hooked now. I love stirring them into the hot chocolate and watching/tasting it melt.

My favourite lunch box treat at the moment is the cocoa orange nakd bar. It has a lovely strong taste of chocolate about without being too sweet. I really want to try a few more of their flavours.

I love the Florentines from Thomas J. Fudge’s. They are beautifully made and incredible popular in my house. Recently they have just bought out a new salted caramel flavour Florentines and I can not wait to get some to try. Knowing how good all their products are I’m sure I will not be disappointed.

This is my absolute favourite chocolate bar and a lovely treat when I can buy it. The Earl Grey tea chocolate bar from Rococo is a heavenly mix of what I love tea and chocolate. You might not think they would go together but they really do.

More on the flavour of chocolate and tea is the white chocolate tea from Whittard. I was a bit worried about how this would taste but it was surprising. The white tea is lovely and the hint of chocolate isn’t too strong. I’m not sure all tea drinkers would like it but it is a lovely change. Whittard have also bought out cocoa dusted chocolate coated espresso beans. These disappeared in my house almost as soon as the parcel was open. It’s crazy how popular these are. A bit strong for me but a huge treat for those who love coffee.

If you are looking for something delicious to bake for chocolate week I would recommend my chocolate strawberry and passion fruit tart. It is very easy to make and bakes in the fridge which is lovely. If you like bourbons, chocolate and fresh fruit you are in for a treat. See the recipe here.

That strawberry white hot chocolate looks amazing – going to have to buy some! I’m obsessed with Lindor…there’s a shop near where the boyfriend’s parents live that does all sorts of exciting flavours, and I make him visit every time he goes home to see them! 😀

Thank you Jane. Very sad that chocolate week is over already.
