Lactofree Cardamom Chai Tea – amazing!
I was given the lovely recipe to a lactofree cardamom chai tea.
I’ve been trying to reduce my milk intake to see how it help my health and I do find I feel so much better. I know it seems silly but I hadn’t thought of trying lactose free milk until now. It tastes like milk, it looks like milk but without the ingredient that doesn’t agree with all of us.
Lactofree is a very well known brand for lactose free milk and it’s even their name which is handy. I really like it and this recipe from their amazing recipe team is a perfect Christmas and cold winters night drink. It was sweet but also rich. It’s a very calming drink and I plan to enjoy it a lot more. It might not look fancy but the taste more than makes up for it. Even though it has tea in it, it doesn’t taste like tea so the taste will be a good surprise.
ingredients makes about 3-4 medium cup falls
- 350ml lactofree semi skimmed
- 500ml water
- 1cm block of fresh ginger, skinned and cut up into medium chunks
