I am very luck to be one of the first to test out the brand new OXO Good Grips non stick frying pan to review.
It is a super non stick and very lovely frying pan.

The frying pan is a good weight which feels lovely to use. Heavy enough to feel stable on the hob but light enough to pick up and flip pancakes with. I have tried!

The pan has a tripled layer non stick coating. Three layers! It is so super non stick it makes cooking so easy and washing it up so easy too. I hate spending ages washing pans. This pan was so quick to clean it makes me want to cook more. What is also a really nice feature is it’s also dishwasher proof! The induction base is a nice addition which makes the pan very good for evenly distributed heat while cooking.

The handle is made of silicone so is brilliantly non slip but also stays cool enough to pick it up without having to use an oven glove or tea towel – still be careful though.

The pan comes with a lifetime warranty which I love. It is nice to know that a company believes so highly in their products that they offer that.

As well as being able to be used on all hob types it is also oven proof. I’ve never had a frying pan which is oven proof before and I can’t wait to make tarte tatin in it.

I used the frying pan to cook meatballs for a pasta dinner and because it was so non stick it didn’t require barely any oil (I added it mostly out of doing it normally). It cooked them so beautifully and there wasn’t a single stuck meatball anywhere. I loved how clean the pan was after it had been used very satisfying.

It is a beautiful pan and has been a privileged to use it and test it. After cooking with it for a week it still looks brand new and I would really recommend it.

Love the fact that it can go in the dishwasher. Such a boost! Can you tell me what the base of the pan is like? Is it solid or does it have dots/rings? I’ve had some problems in the past with some “induction compatible” pans that turned out not to be!

Hi Claire, it s a thick based solid pan. It’s really good and seems so far to be incredibly good 🙂 I do love a dishwasher safe pan – it’s nice to know it’s really really clean.

This looks amazing. I follow a lot of health blogs that have been issuing warnings against non-stick pans but I can’t seem to stop using them – they are so convenient!
