I have been so lucky to enjoy and test out the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri this week.

It’s a great pan and extremely non stick. Plus it is not made using PTFE, PFOA or other harmful chemicals. It’s nice to know that no chemicals were used to make it. There is always risk with chemicals that they might go into the food some way and we definitely don’t want that. The pan has a honeycomb pattern and although it is clear to see it doesn’t leave any pattern on what you cook. A part of me wanted it to leave a pattern so I could make pancakes with the pattern on.

The Green Earth Pan’s natural ceramic coating is very durable and super non stick. When you cook you don’t need much oil and cleaning the pan is very easy. No scrubbing or soaking. It’s cleaned in seconds. The frying pan is made from anodized aluminium that allows for even cooking without the risk of hot areas. It has a magnetized bottom for rapid heat transfer on induction stoves. The handle is made of silicone and gets warm, but not hot, while cooking. It’s nice to be able to hold the handle without having to wear an oven glove.

The pan is light compared to other frying pans I have but is weighty enough to feel solid and strong on the hob. I really love that it comes with a felt mat so you don’t scratch the non stick surface on other pans in the cupboard.

It is so lovely that it is light. I didn’t realise how heavy my other frying pans were!
