Sew White The coconut collaborative snowconut review 1

When given the opportunity to try a frozen dessert I had never tried before I was very excited! Frozen yoghurt is something I had seen in films but didn’t really know you could get it here. The Coconut Collaborative make amazing and delicious goodies from coconut milk so it’s non dairy. I do like non dairy and lactofree products. I don’t have an allergy to milk but my body definitely prefers dairy/lacto free items. It’s also free from soya and gluten! Coconut fat is super-healthy. They are heart healthy, contain zero cholesterol and are low in sugar (win!). Coconut is such a lovely and sunshine filled flavour. It’s sweet and I would describe it as a summer and happiness flavour.

For the gorgeous summer sun they have just launched the Snowcocnut. A frozen coconut milk yoghurt perfect for enjoying in the sunshine!

Each tub is made with the milk of 2 coconuts, is packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Each tub is 100% natural. The flavours you can get are Vanilla and Coconut, Raspberry, Chocolate, Mango.

I was lucky enough to try the mango, coconut & vanilla and the chocolate flavours. They are so good. I can’t express how much I am in love with these delicious frozen yoghurts. The chocolate was the first to be excitedly eaten. It’s so smooth, silky and has a pure taste. The flavour of the chocolate and coconut together works very well and has been made to balance perfectly. It was so delicious – it didn’t last long. A spoonful as pudding without anything else was a treat and with the taste of coconut it seemed rather decadent too.

The vanilla and coconut flavour was incredible for such a simple flavour combination. This work with any pudding from crumble to ice cream sandwiches. It is so smooth as it melts it’s like luxurious cream. I need to make a crumble or pie to try it with.

The Mango I thought wouldn’t work with the coconut but it really did. It tasted like a summer fruit salad full of sunshine and brilliant on a warm day. The mango taste with the sweet coconut was beautiful. I would expect to taste something like this at a fine restaurant or on holiday somewhere exotic.

Steve Bessant, Co-Founder says, “Finding a sweet treat that’s good for you, but still feels and tastes indulgent, is normally a real challenge. That’s why we’re such fans of the coconut. We’ve harnessed the flavour, as well as the nutritional benefits of the holy drupe, and packed it into one pot, offering people a healthy alternative to everyday ice creams and yoghurts”.

We are lucky to be able to try these frozen yoghurt in the UK. Fingers crossed the weather stays so lovely so we can all enjoy them throughout the summer in the sunshine.
