London Cup Lemonade Spritz

London Cup Cocktail

This London Cup Lemonade Spritz recipe is a truly wonderful drink that is packed full of fruit and flavour.

top tips for making a Gin spritz

Top tips have to include crushing the mint leaves with the ice in the bottom of the glass, this releases the flavour and helps to cool down the glass.

How to make a Gin Spritz – Add a handful of ice to a gin balloon glass. You can use any glass but I love a traditional gin glass.

Fresh Fruit

Chop the strawberries and slice an orange and add it to the glass. I would chop them into quarters for a fuller flavour.

Adding your Gin

– Add in the Sipsmith London Cup. Don't forget to measure, I like to use 2 shots but you can use as many or as few as you like!

prosecco time!

Now, add in your prosecco or champagne if you're feeling fancy ! Then top up with lemonade, or omit the lemonade completely have a turbo cocktail!

Curved Arrow

Now it's time to enjoy your easy homemade cocktail in the sunshine ( or indoors dreaming of the sun).

For a party you can prepare the glasses with the garnish in each glass along with the London Cup spirit. Then when you’re ready top up with the lemonade and ice.

Try serving this cocktail with strawberry based meals too. Try out my Strawberry balsamic tart or strawberry prosecco cake.

Make it Alcohol free

You can make this Sipsmith London Cup Spritz into a non-alcoholic cocktail by omitting the prosecco for extra lemonade and choosing your favourite non alcoholic gin.

Pimm’s is perfect for summer cocktails However, The Sipsmith London Cup has a similar taste, fruity, fresh but is maybe a tad better in my opinion.
