Pears on toast with blue cheese and figs is a classic collection of flavours and it's the perfect time of year to make it with in the season fruit.
Toast the sourdough. I use the grill as I like the chunky toast and it doesn't always fit in the toaster. Keep an eye on it though as grilling can cook it a bit quick.
Spread, as best as you can, the blue cheese on the toast.
Peel and slice a pear and add to the cheese.
Topped with a sliced fig and then drizzle with honey.
Enjoy while the toast is still warm.
