My air fryer salmon marinade is the best way to marinade and cook salmon at home. If you're looking for a way to add some exciting new flavours to your air fryer salmon, then you're in luck. This top marinade recipe will take your salmon to a whole new level. An orange, honey and soy sauce marinade with a zesty, sweet, and savoury flavour.
Place each salmon steak in a large square of greaseproof paper. Place them in the air fryer basket.
Sprinkle each with the chopped dill and spring onions.
Zest the orange and add them to the salmon pieces.
Squeeze the orange juice into a small bowl.
Stir in the runny honey and soy sauce.
Drizzle the marinade over the salmon pieces.
Fold the greaseproof paper around the salmon to make a parcel. This will help the salmon stay moist. (As a bonus, it will also help when cleaning out the air fryer later.)
Bake at 160ºC / 320ºF for 14-16 minutes. Larger salmon steaks will need longer.
The salmon should be cooked beautifully and flake/come away from the skin easily.
Notes
•The spiced salmon can be made in advance and left in the fridge until ready to cook.•Serve with salad, new potatoes or even roast potatoes!
