Bathtub Gin
Founded in 2011, Bathtub Gin is a brilliant brand to try if you love gin. They are both named and inspired by the small batches of gin made in bathtubs of the 1920s during prohibition.
However, now their small batches are not made in bathtubs. They start off with a classic London dry gin which is then double infused with their chosen botanicals which creates their stunning flavours. The bottle is gorgeous too!
Cranberry Juice
Sharp and sweet, cranberry juice is one of the best fruit juices for Christmas cocktails with gin. It adds flavour and pairs perfectly with the spirit without overpowering the whole drink.
Orange Juice
Usually reserved for breakfast tables (as a mimosa or alone), orange juice helps balance the flavours of this cranberry cocktail recipe. Adding some much-needed sharpness to the mix.
Simple Syrup
It wouldn’t be a Christmas cocktail recipe with a simple sugar syrup. You can buy sugar syrup from the supermarket or easily make your own at home with equal parts sugar and water.
How to make cranberry Christmas cocktail – step by step
Start by chilling your glass with a generous amount of ice cubes.
Then measure out your gin and pour. Top with the orange juice and cranberry juice before string in the sugar syrup too.
When everything is well combined, decorate your easy cranberry Christmas cocktail with fresh (or frozen) cranberries, a slice of orange and some sprigs of rosemary.
Top Tips
Please drink responsibly and check out Drink Aware for more information.
Use frozen slices of range and frozen cranberries to chill and decorate your cranberry Christmas drink. This stops your drink from being watered down by ice cubes and makes for a tasty booze filled treat at the end.
Serve a whole host of wintery drinks by also making a gin and elderflower cocktail, it pairs perfectly with this Christmas cranberry cocktail.

Cranberry Christmas cocktail with vodka
Not a gin person? Try swapping out the gin for a sharp vodka like Grey Goose. It pairs wonderfully with these flavours and is just as easy to make.
Cranberry Christmas cocktail with rum
If you’re looking for a slightly warmer Christmas Cocktail recipe, use a spiced rum. Warm-flavoured rum is perfect with cranberry and orange. But if that’s not your thing, a white rum will work just as well too.
