It’s the most wonderful time of year… if you love finding the best presents for friends and family! My home gift guide for Christmas 2021 post is a great opportunity to discover new companies and gifts in the run-up to Christmas. This post is filled with 6 homeware and lifestyle brands you might not have heard of but I’m sure you will want to try them all.

Choosing Christmas gifts is hard. I love it but with so many companies and lovely things out there it can be confusing of what to pick for those special people in your life. In this Christmas gift guide post I have pulled together a few pieces that I love!

Products in this gift guide are gifted items

Personalised presents perfect for bakers

As someone with an unusual name, I love personalised presents. Always Personal is a great online shop. They offer a huge range of items that can be personalised for the ones you love this Christmas.

For the Bake-Off fans, this is a great gift worth giving. If you have friends and family who love being in the kitchen this is the top pick for the wannabe baker in your life. You could even use these aprons as part of a Christmas baking competition or the prize for the top baker.

Always Personal’s Star Baker apron comes in a range of colours and can be easily personalised. If the Star Baker apron isn’t quite right then check out their other apron options which all have the option to be personalised.

I am wearing the dark holly green apron and the colour is so gorgeous. Dark enough to hide the mess I manage to make in the kitchen. Plus this dark holly green is very Christmassy too.

Sustainable Christmas Crowns

This year make your Christmas more sustainable and environmentally friendly by sewing your own Christmas cracker crowns with these kits from Bee Smith.

Making Christmas more sustainable can sound like it could be hard but luckily for us Bee Smith has helped us start on our journey. This year Bee has created these sew at home craft kits for Christmas crowns.

These are reusable and adjustable. Plus the paper template included can be made in different sizes for the whole family. They are fastened at the back with a piece of ribbon so can be easily adjusted. All materials and instructions are included with this kit and you will only need a pair of scissors, an iron, ironing board and a sewing machine. You can even hand sew them if you want to.

The templates and instructions can be used again in the future so no-one need ever be without a glamourous, sustainable crown.

With colder days the best place to be is keeping warm and doing craft kits. Bee has other kits available too so do check out the link below and order yours.

Baking up a Storm in the home gift guide

What is Christmas without using every pan in the house? I don’t know if it’s just the Christmas magic or the cold evenings but I bake so much at Christmas. I really can’t stop. It’s often joked that we have used everything in the kitchen and that can only mean we need more!

Judge is a U.K. bakeware company who have an incredible range of bakeware, cookware and kitchen gadgets. What I love about them is their affordability and their quality. I have a good few pieces of Judge in my collection and they have managed to outlast a lot of other brands.

This Christmas called for two new pieces to help Christmas cooking and baking really get started. First up is the Judge baking trays. These are brilliantly large flat trays with a slightly lip to stop anything falling off. (very useful for me as I have been known to drop cookies fresh out of the oven more than once). I would describe these as the perfect cookie tray. You’ve got a large space and as the cooking bake they can spread easily without forming one large cookie.

What is so great about both of these is that they are both non stick but also dishwasher proof. Anything to help me avoid washing up has athumbs up from me.

Second to mention is the Radiant range of frying pans. What is better than one great frying pan? Two great frying pans! This set I admit would be a weirder Christmas present but if you love cooking what could be better. Both frying pans have beautifully soft non stick and will work so well for your cooking needs this Christmas. They would be great for making my garlic bacon Brussels Sprouts.

Make your mark at home with this top present in the home gift guide!

This year I was gifted this beautiful blue plaque from Fun Bloue Plaques. These hand made and designed mini plaques are so cute and really pack a punch when displayed at home.

I absolutely love my personalised blue plaque and I have it hanging next to my desk. It makes me smile almost everytime I see it. Plus I’ve had so many compliments on it.

They not only make great Christmas presents but would be fabulous for big birthdays, promotions at work and achievements in life too. Blue plaques are so iconic and have a great historical notarity. Now you can too! You have the option to change all the words and create your very plaque. Exactly how you want it.

These would make great gifts and are a great size to be a stocking filler too.

Cooking time made easier

Sometimes simple kitchen gadgets are the best and with this cook book holder from Robert Welch I’ve found a new kitchen gadget that I use almost every day.

I have to admit I have never been swayed to use a cook book holder before. I thought balancing books and trying to hold them open with open packets of things would take up less space. In my searches I also never came across any which seemed like they could hold a book open. However this slim lined cook book holder from Robert Welch has changed my mind.

It’s light weight yet sturdy so it’s easy to use and with the help of the adjustable bar you can hold your book or recipe in place. It’s also pretty narrow so it doesn’t take up much space on the work top which is great for us. We have been using it for a few weeks and we’ve actually started using out cook books more which is an added bonus.

This would made a great gift this Christmas, especially with a cook book to go with it. My top choices for the home gift guide would be The Roasting Tin by Rukmini Iyer, Nigella Christmas and Ottolenghi Simple.

Serving up style

There are some incredible pieces of serving ware available and the newest nature inspired range by Sophie Conran has to be top of the wish list.

This legendary designer has joined forces with Portmeirion for the new range.

Sophie has created two new designs called Arbor and Floret which are handmade and derive from nature with beautiful soft curves. They are available in a Creamy White and a soft Dove Grey that has a hint of blue which adds a lovely warmth. The who fit perfectly together and with the other Sophie Conran designs.

In the run to Christmas I will be use these gorgeous items as a table display to show off a few of my favourite Christmas bauables. Helping me count down to the getting the tree but keeping a little spark to get me to December. At Christmas proper I will be use these to serve mince pies, sweet treats and all sorts of festive food.
