Love Wimbledon Winter Wonderland 2018

Love Wimbledon Winter Wonderland is a highlight of the festive season for the Wimbledon locals. Here are my photos of the brilliant day out for kids and adults alike.

The Love Wimbledon Winter Wonderland Food

There was such beautiful food available from a range of fantastic artisan foodies.

There was Chimneys (Known as Kürtőskalács in Hungarian or Trdelnik in Czech, Chimney cake in English speaking regions and so on) I had never had them before but oh my gosh I think I’ve found a new love. The queue for them was 25 minutes long when I joined. I don’t normally queue so long for food but I’m so glad I did. These need to be available more often. I think they are possibly my most favourite pastry bake ever! Especially covered with the cinnamon sugar and being so hot from the oven.

Luso Brazil are Love Wimbledon market regulars and their festive feast was absolutely incredible. The range of bakes was outstanding and like usual all delicious. Rute had made so many Christmas treats alongside her usual brilliant Portuguese and Brazilian treats. I wanted to try everything and I think the Christmas wreath bakes were calling to me.

Besococo was definitely a stall worth visiting. The range of chocolates available varied from the fruity to the rich and even some with alcohol too. The gorgeous gift boxes are so cute too and with each chocolate truffle looking so different and having a different texture it makes the box of chocolates a feast for the sense. The Christmas rum and raisin flavour is wonderful and worth treating your friends with a box but maybe get an extra box for you too.
