In this recipe collection I have rounded up the best Summer Party Food Ideas. There are tasty mains and sweet treats too.

Thank you Karen for hosting last week. Visit her website to see her round up of summer berry recipes.

This week I’ve chosen summer party food to focus on. I love summer. I love parties. Of course I also love food. So this is a triple win.

Summer Party Food Ideas – Savoury Dishes

RAINBOW SKEWERS

Bring some sunshine to your plate with these incredibly beautiful Rainbow Chicken Kabobs by The Family Food Kitchen. These easy but delicious grilled chicken and veggie skewers will be the star of your next backyard BBQ. Not grilling? No problem – there are also instructions for broiling indoors. Serving them with an easy Peanut Sauce takes it to the next level.

FAJITA SHEET PAN DINNER

There are only 5 ingredients in this delicious and colourful Chicken Fajita Sheet Pan dish from the Family Food Kitchen. Juicy chicken and seasoned veggies are baked together then finished with your family’s favourite toppings. If you love dinners that are ready in under 30 minutes this is for you. This would be a great dish to enjoy outside. You can take the tray with everything on outside, and then your family and friends and can help themselves as they build their own fajitas up.

ASPARAGUS & RICOTTA TART

This Asparagus & Ricotta Tart by Kat’s Veg Kitchen is a delicious way to enjoy asparagus season! The asparagus has been paired with creamy ricotta, sweet peas and fresh mint in this vegetarian puff pastry tart. It is a fabulous meal to enjoy in the spring to summer season, and it’s very easy to make too. It would look fantastic as a centrepiece of your summer party.

Summer Party Food Ideas – Sweet Treats

WHITE CHOCOLATE COCONUT MILK ICE CREAM BARS WITH RASPBERRY RIPPLE

These Homemade White Chocolate Coconut Milk Ice Cream by Gluten Free Alchemist are an incredible treat perfect to enjoy in the sunshine. Who could resist such a treat? The coconut and white chocolate milk ice cream have a raspberry ripple through the middle. then they are dipped in chocolate to an extra piece of joy to enjoy this summer.

JAM DONUTS

Who could resist! These Jam Donuts by The Baking Explorer are light, fluffy and beautifully golden. They’re absolutely oozing with delicious strawberry jam and dusted with sugar. It might be a long process to make homemade donuts, but it’s so worth it! You’ll be an absolute hit with your family and friends when you serve up a plate of them still warm from the fryer. A summer treat for kids and big kids too!

MERINGUE KISSES

Meringue Kisses by Curly’s Kitchen are really easy to make and look so pretty. They are great in a dessert but also to add something extra special to a celebration cake.  You can add them to a summer fruit salad, decorate ice cream with them or enjoy them on their own. I would definitely enjoy snacking on these in the sunshine.
