Win Tickets to The Spring Knitting and Stitching Show at Olympia

Win tickets to the Spring Knitting and Stitching Show at Olympia with Sew White. I have 2 pairs of tickets to giveaway for Sunday 3rd March.

Hello fellow craft fans! I love a good crafting session. It calms me down and get me creative. I love cross stitching, embroidery and generally all crafts once I give them a go. I can’t crochet to save my life though. The lovely team at The Spring Knitting and Stitching Show have given me 2 pairs of tickets to giveaway to fellow crafters who would love to visit.

To enter the competition to win a pair of tickets for the Sunday at The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show all you need to do is leave a comment on this post telling me your favourite crafting activity and why.

The Knitting & Stitching Shows are the definitive events for anyone with a love of textile based craft. The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show champions creativity with hundreds of workshops, demonstrations, interactive features on offer as well as 200 of our most loved exhibitors selling specialist craft supplies. Spend a day re-stocking your yarn stash, learning to knit, mastering the art of tailoring and more. There has never been a better excuse to get involved in craft!

At the show there will be workshops (get creative and learn a new skill), shopping (it is incredible what you can find) and textile galleries so you can be inspired to get even more creative.

Textile art, craft and design fans will descend on Olympia London at the end of the month for this year’s The
Spring Knitting & Stitching Show.

The Knitting & Stitching Shows are the biggest events for the UK textile community and draw over 80,000
visitors a year. The popular Spring Knitting & Stitching Show (28 th February-3 rd March) promises to be a feast
for the eyes with stunning works of art on display and colourful fabric, thread and yarn at every turn.

Showcasing the talents of leading fibre artists will be the show’s Textile Galleries. This year’s galleries
feature work by crochet artist Luisa De Santi, fabric collage artist Ariella Green, printed textile artist Ailish
Henderson, yarn spinner and sculptor Catherine Kaufman and members of The Quilters’ Guild. The Louise
Hamilton Knit and Yarn Group and Norfolk Knitters and Stitchers will present The Enchanted Wood – an
elaborate scene of knitted and crocheted magical creatures created in aid of the Louise Hamilton Trust
Appeal.

A little bit of creative inspiration…

Soft sculptures by Luisa De Santi. a renowned Italian fiber artist and textile designer. A broad range of yarn techniques (usually considered as a crafting and female hobby) are her main expressive medium. The result may come in form of wearable art, artworks, fiber jewelry and soft sculptures

  3. I love to use my sewing machine to create pretty and beautiful things.

I have just started to learn to make my own clothes and I’m having so much fun as I have the confidence to wear garments that fit me perfectly. I’m still very much a beginner however I’m learning SEW much (see what I did there )

I’ve also developed a fabric addiction much to my husbands dismay ‍♀️
