Rose wines for summer – A Rosé Bank Holiday

I have rounded up a gorgeous range of my favourite rose wines for summer. There is nothing nicer than a fruity rosé in the sunshine.

It’s a super bank holiday weekend in London and I’ve enjoying a range of different Rosé and pink wines perfect to enjoy in the sunshine.

 Barefoot Pink Pinot Grigio

This wine is perfectly light yet very fruity compared to other Rosé wines. This includes apple, peach and raspberry flavours which work well as a solo drink or with summer meals especially a crispy salad or Mediterranean dishes. It is a super moreish wine and easily sip-able in the sun. A lovely wine and will be a regular sight at my parties and picnics this summer. A bottle is £6.99 from supermarkets. This is a lovely drink with light fruity tones which works really well with lights salads and pastas.

Mondelli Sparkling Rosé – Rose wines for summer

Next up in the super Mondelli sparkling Rosé. It is a delicious mix of sweet Rosé but also with it’s sparkle makes it very special. It’s distinct strawberries and cream flavous area  tasty combination that works and definitely will be what I’m drinking while watching the tennis this July. £7.50 and I bought it from Sainsbury’s. This is a bottle I have bought a few times since and it’s a family favourite now.

Blossom Hill Zinfandel

Blossom hill for the Rose wines for summer round up

The Zinfandel is a fruity rosé bursting with the summer flavours of strawberry and watermelon, delivering a deliciously fresh and lightly sparkly finish. This would be delicious to enjoy on the beach or next to the pool but until I have the opportunity for that, in the sunshine with friends will do. This is my go to midweek drink now. It’s fresh and fruity. £6 Tesco.
