Last Minute Christmas Recipes – Wk 51 & 52 CookBlogShare

It’s so close to Christmas but of course, there is still time to make some delicious food. In this CookBlogShare recipe round up I have pulled together the best last minute Christmas recipes you can try.

Whether it is last minute baking, mains or a cheeky cocktail recipe this round up has a great range of recipes to try.

Appertisers for Christmas

I love sharing platters especially when there are fresh baguettes and lots of dips and nibbles. These two recipes are perfect for a brilliant pimped up snack time for all the family.

This Gluten Free Brown Baguette looks absolutely incredible. Pass me a large slice and some butter and I will be a happy girl! Soft, fluffy and totally bready, it’s easy to make and utterly delicious. Rice Free, Nut Free, Soy Free. Optional Dairy Free.

Creamy, smoky, sweet, sour and deliciously savoury, this vegan smoky ham dip is a real crowd pleaser. Perfect for the party season. It’s the star of the show in this easy party platter and because it’s vegan everyone can enjoy it.

Last minute christmas recipes – Late night treats

With long dark evenings, it’s worth preparing a few treats to enjoy when wrapped up in a blanket watching the best Christmas movies. I have chosen these two treats – a rich chocolate cookie perfect for the whole family and a warming orange cocktail.

Fudgy, soft and oh so delicious, these Double Chocolate Cookies are a must bake. They’re quick and easy to make and don’t need chilling so you can have freshly baked cookies ready in minutes!

I wish I could reach out and grab this cocktail! The classic Margarita gets a festive makeover with Amaretto and fresh orange juice. Perfect for a winter night in, these Amaretto Orange Margaritas are a real treat.

Recipes for Christmas morning

Christmas morning is such a special moment over Christmas and when you love food there are some great options to eat when you start your day. There is still time to make these last minute Christmas recipes.

I adore Panettone and following this recipe I discovered how much easier it is to make than you would think. An incredible recipe for Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Panettone, with a light, open and authentic crumb. Tall and majestic, this chocolate version of the most famous of yeasted Italian Christmas Cakes is moist and buttery and dotted with little bites of chocolate. Exactly as it should be… No one will EVER know that it’s gluten free.

Containing white chocolate pretzels, fruit loops, marshmallows, dried cranberries and a sprinkling of candy, this is the ultimate Elf on the Shelf Breakfast.
