Watermelon and Cucumber Rum Punch

Take a sip on the gorgeous Watermelon and Cucumber Rum Punch, the perfect drink for cooling down at summer parties. Cheers to a gorgeous summer.

Watermelon and Cucumber Rum Punch is making me realise how much I’m missing the summer already! This is such a great thirst quenching drink and is far too easy to sip as all good and delicious drinks are. Rum and watermelon sounds like it might not work together but it really does. It’s like drinking a Caribbean holiday.

Watermelon and Cucumber Rum Punch – the ultimate holiday flavours

For the rum I’d recommend spiced rum as it adds that little extra flavour which is just divine. The spices and watermelon create a mix of flavours that become so mindful as you can sit and enjoy them be totally in their power. Smelling the rum and fresh cucumber before tasting the warmth and spices from the spiced rum. Also the wetness of the watermelon mixer along with it’s slight sweetness just takes it to another level.

Double Dutch premium mixers are a fantastic item to have for your cocktail making at home. Their wonderful flavours make it simple and easy to add natural flavours to a gin and tonic or other spirit. For this drink I used their cucumber and watermelon mixer which you can find here. It’s a light sparkly mixer with a delicious flavour of a wonderful mix of cucumber and watermelon. You think at first the flavours wouldn’t work together but they really really do!
