Chicken

For air fryer fajitas you can use any protein, beans, beef, pork or chicken. I love using chicken as it’s budget-friendly and a great way to use up my leftovers from a Sunday roast.

You can just shred an already-cooked chicken breast or slice your chicken into even pieces and pop them in the air fryer to cook along with your veg.

Onions

The perfect base for any dish, onions offer a light and sweet flavour that is wonderful when mixed with the spices of these air fryer fajitas. You simply need to slice your onions ready for the air fryer basket.

Bell Peppers

I adore the sweet and sharp taste of red bell peppers, for this recipe you can use a mix of red, yellow green or orange bell peppers but I am partial to the juicy red ones. They need to be washed before you cook with them but the moisture helps keep them soft and succulent during the cooking process.

Fajita Seasoning

If you have time or picky tastebuds, you can make fajita seasoning yourself as it’s made up of coming spices you have in the cupboard. But if you’re in a bit of a rush, grab a sachet or pack of fajita seasoning in the supermarket.
