Ingredients

  • 170 g (6 oz) Sage and Onion Stuffing (I used Paxo but other brands are available)
  • 1 tbsp (1 tbsp) butter
  • 425 ml (425 ml) Water

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add the dried stuffing mix with the tablespoon of butter. (The butter will help it crisp up and add some extra flavour too).
  • Boil a kettle and pour 425ml of hot water over the stuffing. Mix it together and leave it to stand for 5 minutes until it's cool enough to handle. (You can also do this in advance).
  • Add a sheet of greaseproof paper / baking parchment to the air fryer. As the stuffing balls can be sticky this helps them cook but not get stuck to the air fryer basket.
  • Divide the stuffing mixture into 12 balls and add them to the air fryer.
  • Bake the stuffing balls at 180ºC / 356ºF for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Turn the stuffing balls over halfway through.

Notes

  • Freeze the uncooked stuffing balls and then cook from frozen when you need them. They will need a 3-5 extra minutes.
