Cadbury Marvellous Creations Fridge Tray Bake

The Cadbury Marvellous Creations Fridge Tray Bake is so quick to make and is always a crowd pleaser. Perfect for parties.

I have loved the new Marvellous Creations range by Cadbury and while I was making the maltesers fridge tray bake the other day I had an idea. Why not using the marvellous creation bar as the milk chocolate as it would bring all the extra sweets with it. This what I created and it was awesome!

How to make the Fridge Tray Bake

The melted marvellous creations chocolate bar.

Mixed together with the digestive biscuits and maltesers in the chocolate.

Pushed in to the pan ready for the white chocolate. I love seeing the flecks of colour.

White chocolate on – if you move it around too much when trying to spread it you can pick up a few crumbs of digestives which makes the little lumps you see here.

40mins in the fridge and I sliced it up before it all became rock hard.

I This is what the bottom side looked like when it had set – I love the colours.

The finished gorgeous tray bake. Family favourite now for sure!

  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 200 g milk chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 200 g popping candy marvellous creations bar
  • 300 g digestives
  • 120 g maltesers
  • 300 g white chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of popping candy optional as the popping candy in the chocolate will dissolve when you melted so this adds some more

  • Place the butter, golden syrup and chocolate in a saucepan and melt together on a gentle heat, keep stirring. Take it off the heat when it's all melted together.
  • Crush the digestives to crumbs and add to the melted chocolate mixture. (I use a rolling pin and hit the biscuits while they are in a bag to make the crumbs.)
  • Once throughly mixed add the maltesers and popping candy.
  • Line a small baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  • Put the mixture into the pan and press in firmly to compact the mix.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a bowl over hot water. When it has melted pour the chocolate over the maltesers mix. Put in the fridge for until set – after 1 hour cut into slices and return to the fridge. It's easier to cut when it's still setting.
