Spring Gin Lemonade
Enjoy a glass of my Spring Gin Lemonade Cocktail in the sunshine. It's a great party sharing drink and in a glass dispenser it looks beautiful.
- 4 litres of old fashioned sparkling lemonade or make your own if you want
- 2 lemons
- 2 limes
- 30 g mint
- ice cubes
- 500 ml-1 litre gin to taste
- 1 cucumber
- 2 heaped tablespoons of honey
Add the lemonade into the dispenser.
Chop the lemons, limes and cucumber into slices and mix them into the lemonade with the mint.
Add the gin and ice. Give it a good stir and add the honey.
Drink within a few hours of making it.
I absolutely love this drink. It’s so great to make ahead of time for events and parties. It’s fresh and fruity and can be easily tailor made to be more or less alcoholic. By using the glass drinks dispenser you can show off the colours of the drink and add a few decorative items like the lemon and lime slices to make everyone who attends head straight towards it.
For spring and summer summer berries, lemons, limes and fresh mint leaves would look gorgeous. For winter how about trying fresh cranberries and long springs of rosemary to give it that luxurious Christmas feel. Another idea is to leave the drink in the dispenser as the juice part of the cocktail and allow your guests to add their favourite spirit.
Disclaimer – I was given the drinks dispenser by Houseology to use and come up with a recipe with. They asked me to host a giveaway with one of their products. The winner will be sent the items directly from Houseology.
