I’ve been exploring eco products to come up with my list of The Top 5 Eco Gifts for Christmas. Waste free and plastic free ideas for life.
This Christmas sees a rise of eco and sustainable presents. I’ve been looking around for lovely gifts that tick the eco box. There are some incredible items which are made from sustainable products like bamboo and it’s great to see plastic disappearing.
Super Eco Shave from The Kind Co.
I had to choose this safety razor set for the first Christmas eco gift guide. This beautiful gift is from the zero waste, sustainable and eco friendly shop The Good Co which is just about to open it’s first pop shop in Dublin in time for Christmas. A traditional razor is a stunning gift for the men in your life and with the removable blades, it will be a present which will last.
Along with the handle and blades the soap is vegan, paraben free, palm oil free and cruelty free. The bar is packed full of essential oils which are great for your skin! Orange and Lavender essential oils give this shaving soap a bold character. Clay extracts help to create a silky smooth shave too.
If you have not tried a traditional razor before, expect to be impressed. The quality of this razor speaks for itself. You do not need to apply pressure, just hold the handle in your finger tips, and let the weight of the razor head glide over your skin, giving you the closest shave and the smoothest skin.

Eco round up from Elys Wimbledon
The Top 5 Eco Gifts for Christmas
What I love seeing is that more and more shops have eco products. So what would be better than a Christmas goodie bag of really useful eco products. Elys Wimbledon have an ever growing Eco section filled with delightful goodies for the kitchen and home. For Christmas I know a few people, myself included, who would love a gift box filled with these items.
First up is the perfect for foodies, wonderful Cookut Bamboo Cutlery Set. The canvas roll contains everything you need for camping or taking out for a picnic. There is a fork, knife, spoon, toothbrush, glass jar and two chopsticks to cover all your table needs! The set itself is so cute and one that would be great to take to a food festival to keep plastic use down.
Next up is the wonderful multi pack of bamboo toothbrushes. With the world wanting to reduce single use plastic, swapping to bamboo toothbrushes is a great way to start. I love how the set are stylishly colour coded on the base. It makes it easy to see which toothbrush is yours.
Contintuing the Eco bundle from Elys Wimbledon
Party time with bamboo straws! The bamboo straw set is reusable and comes conveniently with a cleaner. Plastic straws can take up to 200 years to decompose which is incredibly shocking. Bamboo straws can decompose in as little as 4 months in a compost bin. Worth investing in for the party season.
Winter warming on the go with the cutest little hand size cup from Zuperzozial. I love this little biodegradable travel cup as it is so light to take on the go and it’s also suitable for hot and cold drinks. The little silicone sleeve also makes gripping it when it’s hot really comfortable. No burning fingers here.
Making coffee more sustainable are the Cookut cotton coffee filters. I think a coffee fan will find this a massive hit. The coffee filters are constructed from organic cotton and can be machine washed too. Anything to make it easier to use I am for.
Elys Wimbledon has an incredible range of Eco items in their bid to reduce plastic waste. Visit their home and kitchen departments to check out the range of Eco friendly items. Find out more about Elys.
Eco Wraps from V-Eco the foodies friend
The V-Eco wraps are the perfect way to banish the cling film and give a great sustainable foodie gift this Christmas. They are vegan and non-sticky waxed wraps which are easy to wrap around bowls and secure with the cord and natural coconut button. The wax is made of candelilla wax, jojoba oil and tree resin so also great if you have a bee wax allergy.
I’ve been using the wraps for my Christmas puddings to keep them ready for Christmas.. I think they look gorgeous and the patterns available are great too. This is definitely a great gift for foodies and those who are passionate about reducing their single use plastic.

A smile is for life not just for Christmas with the Blue Rock bamboo tooth brush in The Top 5 Eco Gifts for Christmas
BlueRock offer an incredible Bamboo Toothbrush Subscription which is ideal for eco-conscious couples and families. It might seem like an odd choice for a Christmas gift but with so many people wanting to reduce their plastic waste it would a well received item. Plus if you’re getting you eco friend or family member a subscription, it will be the gift that keeps on giving.
Est. in 2017, BlueRock is a family-run business who specialise in eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes for adults and kids. So far they saved over 10,000 brushes from landfill or ending up in our oceans.
