Emma Bridgewater and Russell Hobbs Create a Stylish Breakfast
The Top 5 Lifestyle Gifts for Christmas
This year saw Russell Hobbs and Emma Bridgewater team up to create a functional and stylish breakfast collection. The classic cream and black Toast & Marmalade design really stands out in the kitchen and add a little bit of fun to the space too.
Russell Hobbs create a range of kitchenware items that are designed for durability and functionality. A brand that many trust for their homes and kitchens. Emma Bridgewater creates beautiful designs for plates, cups and kitchen accessories like tea towels and aprons. Her hand painted style has become legendary in kitchens and interiors the world over. This collaboration works so well as it’s two trusted brands uniting. I was very excited when I first heard about the collaboration.
Is it weird to fall in love with a kettle? It might be but I’m not ashamed! Finding a good kettle is hard with so many on the market. Luckily as a family very much addicted to tea and coffee we have tried out a lot of kettles. It’s safe to say this Russell Hobbs kettle has made it in to the top spot of best kettle this family has ever had. It pours so smoothly, it’s easy to remove the lid and fill and so easy to clean. Plus it looks so gorgeous in the kitchen. It really invites you to enjoy a hot drink whenever you pass it. If you know me then you know how excited I can get over good kitchenware.
Well it would be sad to not have the set right! They were designed to go together and in the kitchen they look glorious side by side. What I love about this toaster is that you can fit large slices of bread in to the slots. I don’t think I’ve had a toaster in a while that I could cook a piece of toast without turning it over to toast the end which has stuck out the top. It cooks really quickly too. I love having a four slice toaster especially when creating family meals. It makes meal prep so much easier. Plus because it says; ‘Toast’s Ready’ on the side I’m now constantly saying it when the toaster pops!
The Russell Hobbs and Emma Bridgewater toaster and Kettle set is a great lifestyle present. It would be fantastic to use for toasting bagels for a delicious Christmas breakfast, I am sure we can agree that breakfast time is a lot more fun when you can start your day with style and high performance kitchenware.

The perfect cookware from Le Creuset in the Top 5 Lifestyle Gifts for Christmas 2019
I’m pretty sure that all foodies would love a gift from Le Creuset this Christmas. I know I would and the boyfriend has the wish list already. Looking through their current range of incredible bake and cookware I found what I would recommend for Christmas 2019. I decided that my top choice would be the stoneware heritage rectangular oven dishes. They are available in a range of the iconic Le Creuset colours. Plus like the photo you can choose different colours for each of the three sizes. I’d recommend giving the set because they do stack really well and look beautiful on display when they’re not being used.
For examples of them being used check out my recipes below. The smallest stoneware heritage rectangular oven dish can make a good size toad in the hole for 2 people. The large one I used for bread and butter pudding fed 10 people. They are oven proof and great for roasts too.
With Le Creuset these really are gifts for life not just for Christmas…

Setting the Christmas table with Viners Cutlery
This Christmas I am in charge of creating the Christmas table and I’ve been picking out the best place settings, table clothes, glasses and of course cutlery. For the cutlery I have decided to use the Eden set from Viners. It might be weird to give cutlery however as someone who loves decorating the table it would be a very well received gift. It would be used every day to create family tables and of course be used to eat with.
Viners has a long and illustrious history as a family of silversmiths in the UK since the late 19th century. They now produce incredible ranges of cutlery. Their pieces are an investment and even come with a 50 year guarantee.
My Christmas table features the Eden 24 piece cutlery set. The cutlery set features slender, smooth, rounded handles with elegant curves which have been designed to be perfectly balanced. They are made from the finest quality stainless steel with a lustrous polished mirror finish and are dishwasher safe. On the dark Christmas table they shine, standing out from the other items on the navy blue table cloth. The curves are classic and sophisticated and with the touches of red and gold work really well together.
The Eden cutlery from Viners is a set which will last for years and never go out of fashion.

The perfect gift for bakers with gifts from Crumble Cottage
The Top 5 Lifestyle Gifts for Christmas
I think it’s the most wonderful time of the year for baking. With this apron and tea towel set from Crumble Cottage you will be full equipped to let the baking commence. Crumble Cottage have created these beautiful baking illustrations which are available as an apron and tea towel.
The aprons are beautiful and one of my favourite parts of baking at the moment is getting to put my apron on. The apron is 100% cotton and a good thickness to stop anything getting through to your clothes. The designs are created by artist and writer Stephen Yorke. His hand drawn artwork is crafted with beautiful and intricate black and white pen illustrations.
These would make gorgeous gifts or stocking fillers for bakers. Both items will be well used and well loved I’m sure of it.
